Rigo shits all over McKinney. Pac fought Barrera at 126. At 122, Pac was a simple fighter with no head movement and a nice straight left.

McKinney was bigger, better power, work-rate and resistance... Rigo is faster and much better defensively. i don't think he could handle Barrera's relentlesness and body-attack with his defense alone, Barrera was a beast back then.

Pacquiao was still very fast and powerfull, if he landed on Rigo it would be over. But, yeah, I agree, Rigo is favored to beat 122 Pacquiao...

Rigo is not yet worthy to be compared with these greats even in a fantasy match-up.

McKinney has nothing on Rigo as a fighter. Between Rigo's skill level and power, Barrera wouldn't be able to charge in. He'd get laid out if he did. He couldn't even beat Junior Jones.

Pac is greater than Rigo...and will always be.

Rigo is off to a fantastic start. I hope they make him into a star.

Unfortunately yes. He posseses way higher ring IQ and defense plus counter punching. Time and time over it gets proven that a boxer usually beats the fighter. Those guys are benefited from being entertaining hence their hyped status. All guys avoided boxers for most of their careers and with good reason.

I can give you many examples of the fighter beating the boxer at the highest level. It's not only clash of styles but clash of the actual fighters. Recent example was the Moreno-Mares fight. Moreno was supposed to be the second coming of Whitaker. Barera and Morales have the tools to outwork Rigo and Pac has the power to send him into oblivion. I don't say that he doesn't stand a chance in those fights but he won't beat any of them easily. The main difference between those fighters and Donaire is that they know how to fight while coming forward. Barerra and Morales were also great combination punchers they were not the type of fighters to wait for one big punch like Donaire does. Beating Donaire doesn't translates in schooling any other fighter in history.

Morales vs Raheem. Wasn't ready for that style and the thinking involved. Probably would've did the same to Barrera. Wars are overhyped. Why even box. Just flip a coin and the fighter who called it gets first crack then let the second fighter get his turn. That war **** is not boxing.
