As for the thread, i think its too early to tell as of now. And like many here have said, Morales, Barrera and Pacquiao are leagues above Donaire.
You do realize Guillermo is more of a midget compared to those 3?? :rofl:roflatsch And those 2 "midgets" adjust far better than both Donaire and Pacquiao, you dumb ****. Learn some boxing before you type out your dumb ****.
Morales would use his height better than Donaire did and he'd be able to take what Rigo can dish out. Plus this is the weight where Erik can bang. I'm seeing him scoring a KD and win by decision. MAB at 122 was much more brutal to the body than Rigo, and he'd swarm him without hesitation. Sure he lost to Junior Jones, but Jones was a boxer who has a longer range and utilized a long straight right hand to keep a rampaging Barrera off him. And even then that was a Barrera who fought too frequently and perhaps still relieving the night he fought against Kennedy. Against Morales, Barrera showed us what he can really do. I'm picking him to win on points as well, Rigo will be on his bike more and will gradually wear down due to Barrera's body work. Against Pacquiao, okay this is a guy who would be on the aggresive all night. All I can say is, Pacquiao has a much more potent punch than Donaire. And what made him dangerous was his speed coupled with his propensity to fire in blinding combinations. I can see Rigo outboxing him in some rounds, the same way Ladwaba did, but eventually getting broken by too much punishment and get's stopped in 10.
I'm the same, I don't hate Barrera but I loved MOrales as a fighter - bottom line is Barrera at times schooled Morales To the answer, Barrera Morales and Pacquiao beat Rigo, they're the 3 best 122-126 fighters in recent memory by some way
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Beating a shot to ****, weight drained, shoulder injured expectant father (did I miss anything out?) doesn't qualify anyone to beat 3 ATGs op
He'd beat all 3. Morales didn't do well with movers, watch him against Raheem and Espadas 1 where he looks clueless. Barrera he'd outspeed and Pacquaio he'd counter silly.
I think the MORE technical the fighter, the less well they will do. Pac at 122 has a great chance, because he was so random and explosive, Rigo would have trouble reading him
Yes, but let us not forget that Zahir Raheem is no way NEAR the level of Rigo either. Let's also not forget that when we watch Rigo, his ring IQ and his actual ABILITY in his speciality is boss. Morales didn't have great defense and his style is just not suited whatsoever to a counter punching style. I see Rigo losing to Pacquiao however.
I know he is usually behind the other 2 when we talk about H2H, but i actually think Barrera has the most success out of these 3 against Rigo. The Barrera of the Morales 1/Salud fights in particular.
:deal People have Espadas winning the fight and call it a 'robbery'. Rigo is far more slick than Espadas also, so he shouldn't worry too much about getting KO3'd by Morales like Espadas did.
I don't think MAB and EM are 'leagues' above, I think they are 1 league above. A win against Donaire would be the best victory they'd have outside of eachother.
