Just had a look at the odds for the Wilder v Harrison fight and big Aid is 6/1 to win so the odds on Harrison by KO will be huge. Think these are very generous odds and fully expect Audley even with all his faults to expose Wilder and I will having a small wager on an Aud ko. Anyone else backing Aud with their hard earned cash?
Even if I thought Harrison would actually win, I would not bet on him. He's simply not a betting proposition.
I will on here, not actual money at the bookies though. Audley could be fighting a 13 year old girl and have odds of 100/1 and I still wouldn't put money on him. I do think he's going to be Wilder though.
I don't think Audley is coming to win this personally he's just trying to eek out his retirement long enough for a few more pay days, I think this is the last one though. After getting concussed against Price he won't want to be taking any big shots and I can see him crumbling after the first sign of pressure. Wilder is nothing special but you don't have to be to beat Audley.
That's what I'm wondering too. I'd like to see his mentality and attitude in the pre-fight razmataz. If he's trained hard and believes he can win, he's definitely got a decent chance. But if he's bought into the Wilder hype, then it's going to be another pacifist debacle.
Yep :good I will do my usual Audley bet ... big bet for him to win by KO (good odds). But also cover Wilder winning by KO in rds 1 & 2. I think Audley will win this pretty easily though, bizarrely. Anything I have seen of Wilder or been able to find on Youtube suggests he is RUBBISH and has been overmatched with Audley! I think he will be exposed a la Price with Thompson, probably within the same amount of rounds. BUT with Uncle Audley you never can tell, so I am covering a Wilder brutal KO in the first 2 rounds. But this time my head AND my heart says A-Force will have far too much in his locker for Wilder. Have any you guys watched Wilder?? atsch I watched his Olympic semi final defeat vs 5'10 Italian Light Heavyweight club fighter Clemente Russo and he lost without scoring a point. He didn't look as though he had improved at all in his last fight against a 39 year old basketball player with just 12 pro & am fights either. Wilder is simply awful.
As awful as Wilder may be you have to think that he's younger, hungrier, has more at stake, and has also no doubt watched countless footage of Audley getting KO'd and bullied by people like Rogan and Sprott. The difference will probably be that Audley turns up for the money and doesn't really try and win while Wilder tries his best, if I thought Audley would throw everything he has it Wilder I would back him but I don't think he will.
Does Audley want to come back though? He's in his 40's now and he's taken some big shots, he knows the world title dream is dead in the water and seems to just be content to grab some last pay days while people still want his name on their record? Even when the title dream WAS vaguely still on he struggled to get himself up for challenges so I can't really see that anything will have changed...
