I wouldn't so much liken Tommy Farr to Henry Cooper or Frank Bruno.

A better analogy would be Jimmy Young or Ray Mercer.

    Tell Lewis and Holyfield that.

One difference between Farr and Mercer is that Farr was not geting beaten decisively on the cards.

Off the top of my head it was clear, but close enough for a few disenters.

All good fighters, H2H Bruno for me, no doubt.
    On achievement;
    Bruno
    Farr
    Haye
    Cooper.
Frank did well but lost to Bonecrusher, Witherspoon, Lewis and Tyson.
He beat McCall and Coetzer and Coetzee(on the way down)-mind you just typing this, he did lose a lot!
Farr the same, good effort against Louis, godd win over Neusell and Baer. Not so good v finished Braddock, Baer the second time, Burman or Nova. Lucky to beat Loughran too which balances out some of his disputed losses. Haye hasn't much at heavy except Chisora, Valuev and old Ruiz and a reasonable attempt v Wlad which pales compared v Frank v Lewis, Farr v Louis or Henry V Ali.
Cooper lost all the big ones too v Clay/Ali, Patterson and Ingo. Good effort v Bugner and the win/loss v Folley.
All decent fighters, all lucky to make top 100 Hw's ever-well maybe Bruno and Farr get in.

Can you seriously justify Bruno above Farr?

I don't think it is competitive to be honest.

I should say that I meant this as being on achievement not H2H which for me puts Farr out front.I do think Bruno would beat them all though.

    Thought I did!
Beating McCall is better than splitting a decision with older Baer? I think so.
Losing to Lewis, Tyson, Smith, Witherspoon v losing to Braddock, Burman, Nova?
Beating Neusell and iffy v Loughran v beating Coetzee etc?
A pick 'em I think, no problem with somebody selecting Tommy but I think it's seriously close.

Talentwise,Joe Bugner who's not included on this list. Unfortunatley,Joe did n't use that talent on a consistent basis.

Out of the ones quoted, I pick Tommy Farr.
