So basically what The Bobfather is doing is treating Rigo like he treated Floyd. I'm shocked.

I was more impressed by Nonito than Rigo tbh , Nonito stayed on his feet , even though he took Rigo's best shots , and survived , he even managed to get a kd out of Rigondeaux , but Rigo left me with mixed emotions with that victory .... Rigo won the fight but he showed wayyy too much respect for Nonito ( IMO ) , he should have fought the first 3 rounds the way he fought the last one ( round 1 was good though ) , I know he had a plan , and it worked , but Rigo HAS TO UNDERSTAND that this is also SHOWBUSINESS and should have adapted his plan into a more fan friendly style , I know it's called " to hit and don't get hit " but he executed the " dont get hit " part of it and forgot the rest . He has to work with Pedro on his offense ASAP . A fighter of his caliber don't need all that running specially after showing his doubters that he has a GOOD chin . Still a win is a win and he should be congratulated for it , specially if you got it against the #1 P4P ranked fighter on the divition but if he fix the running and concentrates on his offence he will be a LEGEND .

So put him in with fighters that can actually make him fight.

Again I'm not saying he'll be a PPV star but after such a dominant win there's no reason to be so prissy about it. You're sitting on a proven commodity, don't **** on him right after the biggest win of his career.

Basically Arum and the fans were mad at Rigo for not letting Donaire punch him in the face, he didn't follow the script.

Yeah. This actually reminds me of the reaction after the Narvaez fight only much more hilarious.

DuBoeuf and Arum were shocked, shocked, that a skilled defensive fighter like Narvaez would actually have the audacity to show off his defensive skills when facing a guy he was at least 15 pounds lighter than and declared that the next guy who "brought the action" against Donaire would get a ridiculously small bonus. I wonder if Rigondeaux received it, or if busting Donaire's orbital disqualifies him from such a prestigious honor.

There's a quote from Rigondeaux's co-promoter on the Scene where he appears to say that Top Rank gave him the option of more money to keep the Donaire fight from occurring :-(

I aint shittin on him and neither is Arum. I loved Rigos performance but it doesnt sell tickets. Donaire was there for the taking and Rigo just stepped off the gas in the 2nd half.

Seems like with what Arum publicly announced on his feeling about Rigo, that Rigo could make a good case(legal) of severing ties with Arum.
