The only thing similar about any of these fights is that it would be a dark skinned guy making a Filipino guy look like he doesn't even belong in the same ring.

I agree. Pac would have been outclassed and given a boxing lesson but Pac would have tried being more aggressive than Donaire but it would have led to him getting stopped or beaten up even worse because unlike Rigo PBF can fight at all ranges and is more physical. It's easy to see and I have no idea why people love to argue the opposite. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Pac and beats any version of him.:deal

Pac ran from a drug test and went off to fight Clottey.

No but it shows you what happens when a good athletic puncher gets into the ring with a pure boxer defensive counter-puncher. The guy with the better technical ability and skills will usually expose flaws and dish out a boxing lesson. That would be the case with PBF-Pac.

    Pac wouldn't test that's why the fight didn't happen.:deal

    No.

Styles makes fight and I don't see how Rigo a left handed mobile counter puncher is like PBF, right handed shell upper body counter puncher is the same. And Nonito, a right handed limited mobility, 1-2 counter puncher is not Pac, left handed front foot volume puncher with high mobility.

Even if you only consider the traditional technical skill difference, I don't see how you can come to this conclusion if you are supposed boxing fans.

I expect this more from drive by fans. No supposed ESB hardcores.

Because it happens all the time at the elite level. A elite slick technical guy will usually beat the elite level come forward power house. It's about frustrating your opponent high ring IQ and being able to win a fight in more than one way. Guys like Pac and Donaire are too one-dimensional and flawed while technical guys can expose these flaws and frustrate them into making more mistakes thus fighting their fight.

Always favored Floyd barely surviving several spots and as it goes on he sufficiently clowns Pac amongst the ever present pot-shot maneuvering to the end, finally taking a +3 or so decision. Afterwards, besides the massive gloating, he'd begin a permanent rematch denial in the most arrogant/ignorant ways possible.

...Either that or the Pac blitz proves just too much......

Years later I am still absolutely baffled by their idiotic position. The better testing isn't perfect therefore we shouldn't have any extra testing at all...wait wtf? :patsch

I mean really though, they have to believe their idiocy. Otherwise it means their boy ran away from the biggest fight of his life because he wouldn't pass better tests.

You make a good point but Manny cant do **** with a boxer or movement just like Donaire hence why both are kept away from the hit and not be hit style. Bob tries to put these guys in wars as much as he can and with good reason. The Floyd fight is always "boring" as well when he out ring generals opponents. Other than a lucky one punch KO its safe to assume Manny has no chance just like Donaire last saturday.

The similarities are in the generalizations...Donaire the "big puncher" "offensive force" etc, being humbled and broken by the "defensive", "skilled", technically better guy. While stylistically there isn't a lot in common there are some...I think the framework would be the same. Floyd's defense/counter punching would cause Manny's work rate to bottom out, he would take stiff shots, eventually get his spirit broken and busted up. I see what Freddy's saying, but I understand the dismissals as well, it's a matter of how you are looking at it, but the bottom line is Floyd would have ****ed that dude's world up.
