There you go, don't like being accused of having bad manners. Sorry if I offended your sensitivity with my origional post. He's a ****wit of the highest order, and has been most likely warped by his own mothers sense of "BRITISHNESS", even though she was born on the island of IRELAND.The problem is, he has IRISH blood coursing through his veins yet he doesn't quite now how to cope with this, and if his father is an Isreali jew as opposed to european his own features wont resembly someone from these islands. So depending on what school he went to he could have came in for a lot of stick about that also. The BNP wouldnt consider him pure blood British in any sense of the world yet they would embrace Fury and Macklin happily:yep It's a strange old world.:good
how's that funny? the idiocy of that statement is hilarious. If someone identifies themselves as being from one country, then they may not have any interactions, business dealings or relationships with people from another country. Is that what you are getting at?
Thanks for obliging. I respect your views. I'm also curious whether the hypocrites in this thread will bother to highlight that your post is full of racist assertions.
Strange way of ignoring the reality of peoples right to dual nationality in Northern Ireland. Its a complex place regarding nationality, you should research further. :good
What racist assertions? They're observations about yourself and why you think and behave the way you do:huh. We are all products of our upbringing and enviroment [and in the case of ICEMAX, the instituations we join]. So I can imagine when your father abandoned your mother, she became a very embittered individual lashing out at the world and all its woes. And because your mother being from a northern Irish unionists background, Ireland and all things Irish would have been targets for these outbursts. You should be looking at this aspect of your personality, instead of going with the "kid gloves" angle, as to why you attack Ireland when any opportunity presents itself. You know I'm right, don't you.:yep Note I'm still posting in the way you requested:good
Can't say I care that much. Same as when Macklin comes out with stuff like this. If they want to be known as Irish fair play to them. It would seem to make sense to base yourself in Ireland but if they don't want to then that is up to them. The Irish fans would be more behind them if they lived there and people in England would still follow their careers.
Is Frampton an Ulsterman?I had no idea,i thought he was Irish but it seems though im not sure that he draws support from both the Ulster and republican Irish sides which is a good thing.
Fury was popular in his first 8 or 9 fights and had alot of support in various arenas around the UK and he was always open about his Irish traveller background. It started to sour when he trash talked repected pro John Mcdermott who dosnt say boo to a goose then many felt Mcdermott was robbed in the first fight. He become unlikeable at that point especially when abusing the humble Price then giving up the belts to avoid him. After that i think alot of the abuse he got on twitter etc was from Scousers.I think he's becoming popular again as he's so far backed up the talk and shown that he's quite a character with alot of talent. Its interesting with Fury because he plays up his traveller background but he comes from a decent honest family. Many dont like travellers whether their British or Irish gypos, pikeys etc because they have a tendency to start fights, thieve etc but Fury dosnt come from that background. There's a video of Tysons old man being interviewed and his home was spacious and nice.Fury's background seems more priveledged than many other people from Northwest England.
Don't mean to be cynical, but isn't his Dad in prison for gouging someone's eye out? That strays pretty far past my definition of 'decent and honest' I would also say that someone of the utter crap that's been posted on his official Twitter is pretty indecent and offensive as well. Although, like I said, I know people wind him up on there and a lot of it is racist in nature. However, that's no excuse.
How do the people who view Fury as English view Martin Ward ? Born in Leeds in an Irsh traveller family moved to Dublin for years and started boxing there, moved back to London were he boxed for England and he has an Irish accent ?
aint that the ****in truth, they don't want to hear it though, nope, those boys could do no wrong, bravely putting their necks on the line to deal with us terrorist scum where are the poppies, guys? lol I'm done with this conversation as its only going to start annoying me
there is no distinction, seeing as Ulster is one of the provinces of Ireland, but then we get into the murky world of "Norn Iron" politics which I won't, because as I say, it'll annoy me
Frampton comes from the Protestant/Unionist community and you're correct he draws support from all people in NI and ROI. This is great for boxing and society here in general, long may it continue.
