Exactly. I'd like to see Trout do it but it's Alvarez TKO. Even if Trout gets his boxing going it will get to a point where Alvarez will just decide to walk through him. When Trout realises he's lamping Alvarez with his hardest shots and Alvarez isn't even blinking then he'll be on the backfoot against an immovable tank. It's then a question of whether he gets stopped or toughs it out.

My prediction is that SAUL ALVAREZ wins by stoppage between the 6th and 10th rounds.

I really can't see it any other way and i've seen at least 5 or 6 of Trout's fights and never really been all that impressed, he's a good neat boxer but dosent have that something special that's going to keep Alvarez off him and once he's weakened by those Alvarez body shots he'll be there for the taking.

I think Trout wins a decision but i'm worried about the judges.

Don't see how Trout can possibly lose this. He'll outbox Canelo worse than he outboxed Cotto.

  8. Very nice thread Jonesy, well laid out, good stuff :good

I'm taking Canelo by decision. I think he'll be out boxed early but after a few rounds he'll figure Trout out and dominate the second half of the bout.

Picking Alvarez but wouldn't be suprised if Trout eeked out a decision over the 12.

No way Trout was 3-1 on the outright market.

I think the best i saw was 9/4, that was back when the fight was first announced.

Means skybet would have had to go 1-4 Canelo, Trout never went above 5-2.

Alvarez always seems like he has extra few gears to go up but because of his opposition he has just cruised to comfortable victories in second gear.
