Jeez, if poor logic could hurt, you'd be in agony now!

You are saying he is overrated because he hasn't beaten anyone. That doesn't follow. Could he not be a brilliant fighter who hasn't had the chance to beat the best of the rest yet?

G to the G is one of the most avoided fighters on the planet. Why?

    Clue: Risk/reward.

If he were American, the God of War would be as highly rated as Ward.

Nobody is hyping him based on resume, more hyping/excited about him based on H2H possibility.

In that regard it's perfectly warranted.

Sure people are going overboard at times but he seems to have the goods. The upcoming fight against Macklin will be a great test to accurately judge his standing in the division. A good win over a legit top 10 middleweight will see the hype somewhat justified.

So anyone unbeaten deserves major hype because they dispose of average fighters impressively?

If they have an awesome amateur resume, few weaknesses and many proven strengths, then they will deserve hype, yeah, at least from the connoisseurs.

There are loads of guys with impressive amateur resumes.

Did he win a Gold medal?

How can he have few weaknesses when he hasn't been tested yet?

He is making awesome adjustments that great trainers who have seen it all are very impressed by.

Even very good fighters have shows weaknesses against lesser competition e.g. Ward. The Great G on the other hand, hasn't. ;)

In three years' time, the p4p list will look like this:

    1. Rigondeaux
    2. Golovkin

What are you talking about honestly?

Hes fought poor opposition. Jeff Lacy looked great against the same caliber of fighter.

Jeff Lacy had a hook. That's all. He couldn't box, couldn't adjust.

Is this what you see when you watch GGG? Just a big swinger with a punch?

    Calm down.

He is fighting Macklin now who is a legit test. When he KO's Macklin, no one will even consider fighting him.
