Hamed while on Rigos level, isn't as quick or nearly as hard to hit. JJ is as quick as is Pacquaio, but MAB came up short with them. Pre-126 MAB is great at applying pressure though so he's the best bet out of the 3 to beat Rigo, although Pacquaio obviously has a punchers chance

The only 1 of those on Donaire's level is Hamed, JJ would be if he didn't take so many risks with a shaky chin

I'm not sure how relevant that is given Morales couldn't lay anything on Raheem. You could argue Morales didn't have the legs anymore, but when did he ever have to chase down a mover near this level? You make a good point that Raheem is an underrated boxer though, hard to beat from 126-135 but didn't get the right breaks a more exciting boxer may have done.

Hamed is at least as quick, even harder to hit and with a much better chin and a TON more power. WHy are you even talking about Raheem as if that has anything to do with a prime young Morales?

Rigo gets smoked by any of those guys, and for that matter I doubt he's champ two years from now. He gets hurt bad in half his fights and he's only fought one really good fighter. He landed about 4 punches a round against that fighter. You people are insane, you really are. I don't even understand half these posts, they're ignorant beyond belief. I wouldn't make Rigo more than 50/50 against ANY of those fighters except McCollough and a prime Tapia and Ayala would be favored over him more likely than not. prime Kevin Kelley would probably go off as a 2 to 1 favorite at a sportsbook. Why is everyone jumping on Rigo's jockstrap? It's not because of anything he's done, that's for DAMN sure. Because he's slick and black? That's all it takes?

oh and it's SOOOOOO nice of you to give Pacquiao, fighter of the decade, a slim chance against this guy who just now won his title.

WTF is this ****? MAB/EM/Pac/JMM would make Rigo winning the tour de france fools!

Hamed would be schooled ala Donaire tho. But as long as hamed has his sick power, he could end the fight in a jiffy. therefore: toss up.

Rigo gets KO'd by all of them and badly. How dare you compare him to that golden era of 122/126 lber's.

He took so many punches and punishment in that fight (and it was right after the third Barrera fight, another brutal war). Those fights, so close to each other, might have taken a tool on him.

Also, Morales was famous for not training enough for "lesser fights", that might also be the case.

Yeah, you're right. It's pure coincidence that Morales became "shot" on heels of his finest performance and against the first slick, black fighter he ever fought (who wasn't washed up).

My ass!! Erik Moralles at 5'-8" is the ATG beast at 122 and has never been criticized for being a midget killer. While the smaller Donaire at 5'-6" has long been criticized for fighting smaller guys at 122.
    :patsch

Well Marquez stood up to Pacquiao, but took him 5 knockdowns and 4 bloody wars to do so.

Rigo's wn over Donaire is better than anything Morales did at 122. Donaire>Zaragoza and Morales didn't even deserve the first fight against Barrera.
