Mitchell is doing marathon at weekend so i guess not that lazy.

Depends when Mitchell fights, Gavin has a date and venue for the Vassell fight, but it hasn't been officialy announced yet.

Lazy is a word with several meanings...one of which is "not rigorous or strict".

He has had a date for his next fight for 8 weeks now.

Was fighting March 16th, then April 20th.

 

He was never fighting in March, was added to the Wembley bill in a 10 rounder that was then changed to 8 before he pulled out after deciding he didn't need a tune up for Vassell. He was down to be fighting early in April, but the board wouldn't allow Rick Godding as a voluntary, so the fight was called off. This date will be a definite one because the fight went to purse bids and has to happen by the end of June.

 

The list of fights where purse bids have been won and have to take place by a certain date.....and don't is a very long run.

and even if it does....June to long for Gavin to be out and Mitchell will be fighting before then. :good

Mitchell has only a few decent fights left in him - mainly due to his love for booze and other "stuff"

 

I got told April then got offered some meaningful fight so isaid I would wait, I'm fighting June vs Vassell. An hopefully get out in September then x
