    Sweet...they are gonna ruin Alvarado so that they can squeeze a few more bucks out of Manny. Alvarado is perfect for Manny, he will get thrashed.

    Good tuneup fight. Alvarado is a tough guy , comes to fight. He'll let us know where Pac is at this point.

    The weight is a non issue, anyone bitching about that needs to grow up. Pac has always been and remains a very small WW. Alvarado will outweigh him. 147 just means both guys are comfortable making weight.

    This is a poor fight, Alvarado deserves better. This whole GBP/TR problem really needs addressing. Alvarado should fighting other 140lbers and not be fed to Pacquiao.

    I actually like Alvarado and hope he does well but this is a horrible fight for him, he is going to get busted up something stupid. He was on ***** Street from a Rios jab, Manny is going to cut his face up and stop him mid rounds.

    Seriously, this fight needs to be on regular HBO. It would be a good gesture to the fans. Alvarado was on his way to losing to Presscott. He has no shot. Now Pacquiao was knocked out cold in his last fight, so I have no problem with him taking on a relative soft touch. However, it should not be a PPV fight.

    before you post, you have to think it through and look at it on both sides POV....because the upside is, alvarado is doing to get paid well and he's going to get noticed if he wins. his value per fight will skyrocket.

    alvarado or somebody in his place will take a fight like this everytime.

    Considering Pac was almost killed his last fight, this isn't a bad comeback fight at all. Anyone who thinks he should be fighting anyone better then Alvarado after what just happened to him are delusional.

    Rios/Alvarado were always the perfect opponents to bring Pac 'back from the dead' for Arum.

    He will look better then he currently is and his name will be back in the headlines again. Many fans will become blinded again as to where he really ranks in terms of his current ability and it very well could set up a 5th Marquez fight. In which it will all come back down to earth once again.

    Idk... this is boxing, anything can happen, we will see.

    That all being said, Alvarado is not a bad opponent for him right now. That so many think this is a trash fight considering what just happened to Pac shows how highly Pac is thought of.

    Good fight, I mean Pacquiao nearly got killed and experienced a life and death white light... mother****er was in heaven for a quick minute.

    and many people never fully recover from getting laid out like that...

    so alvarado is a good come back fight, if pac has anything left... also, pac ain't p4p anymore so who gives a **** about who he fights anyways.


    sucks it aint rios as that granite chin, and coming at pac for 12 rounds would have been better.
