vastly overrated, participating in an era where the welterweight division was and is very weak, he has benefitted from choosing to retire at the moment when he was surrounded by his greatest adversaries

He has cherrypicked his way to being the last man standing and made a career of fighting opponents who did their best work a divison below welter. In the cases where he did fight an opponent like Mosley or Cotto he only did so after they were greatly diminished and true challenges to his supremacy were outright avoided.

No one cares. Into the whine thread this goes.

Pac has cherry picked everyone above 130.

What he did north of 130 holds 0 substance and hasn't helped his legacy one damn bit.

    It's nothing. All trash.

Oh and he flat out avoided Floyd. Refusing tests in 2009-2011.

    Refused the 40 million dollars.

He has refused Floyd every time.

yeah he cherry picked Mosley, Hatton, Oscar, Cotto and Marquez.

He's not like the beast Pacquiao who takes on warriors like Sugar Shane,The Hitman, The Golden Boy, Angel and Dinamita.

    Wait. What?

You might have an argument IF Floyd: never fought the lineal champ at 21 years old, never fought 3 good top 10 SFW's in the calendar 2001 including P4P ranked Corrales, didn't fight the top LW in his second fight there, didn't immediately rematch him after a close first fight, never went up to 154 for Oscar let alone Cotto later, and didn't fight Mosley.

Which fighters, if negatively critiquing for the sake of argument, haven't fought "wisely chosen opponents" after winning them?
