"Young and motivated" Lewis got sparked in 2 by mental asylum patient and went life and death with Mercer so that was hardly "prime" Lewis. Second, Mercer had more success in the second part of the fight. Vitali schooled Lewis right from the opening bell.

Mccall was an early stoppage imo and Pele Reid sparked vitali in two.

Mercer was a good fight and yes he did better than Vitali.

What does all this say about your hero that 2 "mental patients" could spark Lewis, but he couldn't? To me it just makes your boy out to be severely overrated that he couldn't take fat, old, unmotivated Lewis out but these other guys could. Lol, you're **** always seems to backfire on you son, doesn't it? :yep

No. Lewis had more success in the second part of the fight. If he didn't then he wouldn't have won on the scorecards. The general consensus is that Mercer got the better of the opening 6 round but Lewis got the better of the last 4. It was close enough however that the result could have been a win for either or a draw and be perfectly acceptable.

Lewis may not have been in his prime against Mercer but he wasn't in his prime against Vitali either.

Vitali won two clear rounds against Lewis, had three close rounds and lost one clear rounds. He started strong and won the 1st and 2nd rounds, the 3rd, 4th and the 5th were close and he lost the 6th. That hardly shows Vitali "schooled Lewis right from the opening bell". If it had been as one-sided as you fanboys claim then it would not be regarded today as the last great heavyweight fight. It was a scrap in with both fighters took the fight to each other and in the process took a lot of damage and Lewis proved to be more durable than Vitali on the night.

Vitali had big moments in the first 2 rounds! Nothing else.

    TKO 6.

    The doctor saved Vitali“s health.

Past it Lennox, cut Vitali to pieces.

Pity they never let it continue because Lennox would have KO'd him in the next 2-3 rounds anyway.

TKO6 is in the record books.

Lewis was past his prime and his "fighting decire" was low. And this is not a secret.
