First I apologize for the length of the post, but believe me it is worth reading. I would post this in a new thread but for an unknown reason I am not allowed to post new threads even though I did nothing wrong and and I can't get the moderator to respond to my inquires.
This post is about blatant plagiarism by the writer from Boixngnews24 Allen Fox. I wrote a comment on 1 of his articles entitled, "Broner vs Malignaggi to be televised by Showtime on June 22nd", writen by Allen Fox on 03/18/13. I wrote a comment (which you can scroll down and read yourself),and then on the same day Allen Fox wrote another article entitled, "De La Hoya: Doesn't HBO know Golden Boy is stacked with Talent"
Allen Fox lifted the entire premise, theme, summary, from my comment I made under the Broner vs Malignaggi article. He even stole from my comment, word for word. I wrote the editor, but never received a response. Then I noticed my comment was erased from the Broner vs Mal. article and Allen Fox's article was not changed at all. Instead of an apology and having Fox rewrite his article, or give me credit the editor and Allen Fox instead decided to just erase my comment. Here is the email I sent them:

    to editor
This is in regards to 2 articles posted on 03/18/13. The 1st titled Broner vs. Malignaggi to be televised by Showtime on June 22nd and the 2nd titled De La Hoya: Doesn't HBO know Golden Boy is stacked with Talent? both written by Allen Fox. I posted a comment on the 1st article. The post/comment is listed below for you to read along with the questioned section of article 2 written by Allen Fox. My issue is the 2nd article has parts in it that seem extremely similar to the post/comment I made in the 1st article. I have highlighted the section in my post/comment below. It seems like Allen Fox used my post/comment almost word for word in his article. Also, the whole summary and idea of the 2nd article seems lifted from my comment. It seems as if Allen Fox used the premise, idea, and substance of my post/comment for his article. Examples are rife such as the mention of Bob Arum's age and firing Ken Hershman just to name a few. Now, he wrote each article on the same day and I believe he read my comment and plagiarised it and passed it own as his own work. I am saying he did this intentionally, and I am angry about it. If your writer, Allen Fox, wants to use my words and ideas for his articles I am a bit flattered by it, but I do want him to credit me for it by using the standard journalistic practices, such as a footnote or quote me in his article. For example," a comment listed by one of our readers, Joe......... I do hope you read the 2nd article and compare it to my post/comment and make your own judgement on the issue. Since you are the editor I am sure you will be fair and I am also sure you do not tolerate plagiarism even if it is done unintentionally. I do hope you respond to my email as quickly as possible.

    Thank You,
    Joe Pacheco

Questioned section of Article written by Allen Fox: De La Hoya: doesn't HBO Know Golden Boy is stacked with talent?

"What HBO seems to be forgetting is that Top Rank, which will be supplying most of their talent for their fights, is headed by an 81-year-old CEO in Bob Arum. He’s not going to be around for too much longer, and who knows how well the promotional company will do once Arum is gone."

joe (my comment posted on boxingnews24)

What a stupid and horrible move by HBO. Golden Boy has the deepest roster of fighters and to just abandon making fights with them is just plain stupid. Instead HBO wants a relationship with Top Rank who not only has a much thinner roster of fighters, but it has an aging 81 yr old man at its head who will not be in the business much longer. This a bad strategic business decision by HBO which comes down to the question of why on earth did HBO hire Ken Hershman in the first place?

Ever since Ken Hershman was hired HBO, boxing has gone downhill. He needs to be replaced immediately. I never understood why they hired him in the 1st place. His record at Showtime was one of limited growth and continued status quo. He did not bring any great innovation or changes to Showtime during his tenure there and Showtime Boxing never grew, its just remained there in a sort of suspended animation. When he was at Showtime, Showtime boxing never could compete with HBO Boxing, and they constantly put on poor fights. But once Hershman left and Showtime hired a new Sports director they have leaped past HBO putting on good fights all year long. Their viewership has gone up and now they have Mayweather. This compared to HBO, since Hershman’s hiring, poor match-ups, bad deals, losing Mayweather, and now refusing to deal with Golden Boy fighters. Hershman has now backed HBO into a corner. Losing Mayweather and now Broner, whom they had a lot invested in already. I see them courting Andre Ward, but Ward does not bring in big numbers and is not a pay per view attraction, and not too exciting to watch either. All the great fights at 168 have already been done by Ward and done on Showtime. Hershman has been a complete and absolute failure who needs to be fired before he ruins HBO Boxing for the next decade

Does Top Rank want Pacquiao to lose?!?!? Are they cashing out?

Everybody knows he can't physically or mentally handle what blood testing would do to him. He has publicly stated this much.

You can't throw him in fresh after a knockout with a 32 years young hungry junior welterweight lion while poisoning him by drawing blood!!! No way!

But seriously, flash back to December '09-January '10 negotiations and then think about all of the contradictory press releases and statements made by Top Rank or Manny's camp about blood testing since then. Funny stuff.

    Ahhhhhhhh, good times, those.

Tim Bradley even took tests in his last fight, so i wouldn't be surprised if him and Juan do random tests in their fight

top Rank really ****ed Manny and he let them. The dude looks suspicious as hell and all they had to do was random testing for any of his fights. They should have done it for the Mosley fight. Instead they kept bullshitting saying they agreed to do it with Floyd which was a lie. I'm willing to be banned for 3 months and the mods can do it if Manny does random testing bc I doubt he will.

Manny can't do blood testing. If he gets blood drawn, he can't train for 3 days.

Why not test everyone. Who really cares, as long as everyone is tested and Mayweather doesn't use testing as a way to get out of fights.

Who cares? Too little too late. That is like telling me Margarito is going to allow his opponents trainer to wrap his hands after the Mosley fight.
