He's one of the most respected fighters on the forum MVC. Even by many Americans and no one can claim he's better than Ward,but he has a lot of heart and a solid chin. If arrogance bothers you, I'm assuming you despise Broner? And imagine a fighter having the cheek to say he'd win his upcoming fight by KO? What a nerve.
I have a lot of respect for Carl, but Ward must have hit him a lot harder in the head than we thought. He clearly lost damn near every minute of that fight. I get that he has his pride, but he needs to maintain his integrity.
Broner is a different kind of arrogant. 1.It coems across as fake, as if someone said "hey,act like Floyd, he gets lots of attention" 2.It just comes across as corny and silly. Froch literally comes across as a bitter, arrogant guy. Hes constantly belittling other figters and not just guys hes about to fight. Otehr fighters in general. Liek saying he'd give Groves a "pasting" If he was funny like Ali or Hamed, then at least it would be entertaining, but hes not and hes not even TRYING like Broner. He just comes across as a dour, *****.

You're obviously catching the wrong clips because he's anything but dour. He says things to get a reaction,sometimes knowing things to be untrue(and we don't even know if he said it) purely to get a reaction from detractors and ...VOILA! I found Hamed to be an annoying **** and respected him purely for his ability,and if you're going to put him in the same bracket as Ali when it comes to arrogance and say that Froch isn't entertaining all the while saying that Broner does it better because he tries and Froch doesn't,then I can't have a serious discussion with you on the matter. Admit you don't like the guy and we can move on because that's your opinion and yours is as valid as anyone else's. I'm a big Froch fan but he's full of **** here and sadly this isn't the first time he's said this. He needs to come to the realization that he did indeed lose to Ward and was beaten clearly. What he needs to do is beat Kessler then try and rematch Ward.
Oh indeed,on a personal level,i dont particularly like the guy. Maybe hes agreat,and just saying stuff for the camera. Hes a tough fighter though if a little limited. It just annoys me sometimes when people say they dont like Khan,for example because hes "arrogant" when Froch says stuff 10x worse than Khan.
Jeff,there's no source mate,and as I have a great deal of respect for you as a poster I'm going to give you a tip that might be valid as you guys probably don't get as much exposure of Froch over there. But,in fact you know what? You're a smart guy mate,and I reckon you'll have worked it out just by what I've said previously. But take it from me mate.I've heard him say that the only guy he suffered a genuine loss to was Ward(although he said "one of the best fighters of their generation") Even if he did say what's being claimed,he has a big fight coming up.This is the way he does things.
And I did say he was limited earlier in the thread. But again,you guys don't see as much as we do here(unless you go looking for it) and there's a longtime feud between Khan and Froch. Froch has always been arrogant.Khan changed completely when he went to LA,and has been an absolute PR disaster when it comes to playing the arrogant fighter.Even many of his fans admit this. I totally understand that Froch will split opinion,but over here most people know he has Khan in his back pocket when it comes to PR.
I heard him say the same things a while back about losing to the better fighter that night. Sometimes guys change their tune over time. Glad to hear Carl isn't going nutso. I like the guy. Tons of Americans like the guy. I want it to stay that way.
