Fury: I fight for Ireland

Fury fights for whichever one is most profitable at the time. He has said whatever pleases the crowd, or the interviewer, or the audience of the publication that is interviewing him. Little surprise then that he says this prior to his american debut, against an American, in New York.

travellers are not looked upon as legit irish citizens they are even regarded lower than romanian gypsy immigrants, thats irish travellers by the way not even the plastic paddy english travellers like fury

 

Traveller's have no history as a race or a group of people from a certain country. They like to pretend their Irish when they're not at all in order to feel like they belong to something.

i dunno about irish but here in the scottish highlands there are ethnic indigenous travellers, the tinkers but theyre smaller in number these days and many got settled.

they still get shocking abuse and treatment, its like the last acceptable prejudice and thats not good IMO

irish travellers of which fury is one are a distinct group of people who broke off from ogher irish blood over 800 years and kept their irish blood since hennnce making them the most of irish people on the island of ireland

I think the reason people hate this attitude of choosing nationality whenever they feel like it is a bit like Man Utd fans in London.

It's easy to say you love being Irish when you don't actually have to live there.
