Uh, yeah. Neither guy was elite and are overhyped on ESB just because Manny beat them. I don't care for either guy and I'm not a dickriders of those 2 like the politically correct majority of posters in ESb. They just fight other Mexicans and never expanded their game much. The Gatti/Ward reference is because dudes weren't really talked about until they went to war with each other. I'm never going to change my stance on those guys. They'll always be overhyped "warriors" due to being entertaining like Manny and so many other punching bags. The proof is neither guy has lasted and were confined to smaller weight classes whose careers ended while they were still young. Sorry I like guys who think and respond over guys who just react in the ring.

Barrera and Morales were not elite... Holy **** :patsch:patsch

Donaire is better at 122 than Barrera was :patsch

Barrera would beat Donaire to a pulp and KO Rigo in five rounds.

Rigo destroys all at 122 due to movement, ring generalship and counter punching. He would have the most trouble with morales whose 5'8 but he still puts on a clinic. It's just the style match up.

I knew we wouldn't be able to enjoy Rigo's win without this kind of nonsense.

First off,Barrera turned pro at 15.How was he ever gonna last well into his thirties?

And my main point, are you saying that Barrera and Morales weren't elite but Rigo is?

He is overrated.. He would get completely smoked and outclassed by Barrera, Morales, marquez and Pac.

Rigo is a good fighter but your going way overboard and way too early.

He does not put on a clinic. Rigo never faced someone who could put pressure and go to the body like Barrera or someone who can close the distance as fast as Morales (Nonito's footwork sucks).

Pacquiao wasn't really that great at superbantam, but above that weight he'd put rigo in a stretcher.

Rigo would run that I know. Would rigo win? that i don;t know. Perhaps if Morales was weight drained. He might have a chance.

Prime Morales gives rungundeaux a spanking.

That pressure stuff gets stomped as soon as they get countered. Their punch out put and effectiveness would go down also. Their style is only good when someone is exchanging with them. Rigo is going to move and set them up for traps. This always befuddles the warrior types. Clinic all 3 but of course Pac wins at bigger weights. Same for them all. At 122 though..clinic.

he schools all 3. morales, barerra and pacquiao all had difficulty with boxers.

see morales/raheem, barerra/jr. jones and pacquiao/jmm or bradley.

rigondeaux is more highly skilled than raheem, jr. jones, jmm and bradley when it comes to boxing.
