And of course you take offense to a post of mine saying fanboy, when you are exactly one of those. You might have fooled the idiots, and possibly yourself. But you've proven to be too much a johnny come lately to boxing, and honestly, you try to hard to convince people. Like saying how you were so into boxing as an 8yo, how you did your sr paper on lewis, and how you followed DLH's career. Wow...you were a fan of the most popular boxer of the last 2 decades and the HW World champ. Only ReAAL boxing fans would be fans of those two. But like I said, you can probably fool the idiots of the site. No wonder Floyd fanatics have embraced you as one of theirs. :thumbsup
Getting a gift decision against marquez, being KTFO by Marquez vs being robbed against Bradley.......
I agree about Guerrero and Broner. And of course these lists are subjective. I still like the idea of a top ten pound for pound list to give proper credit to smaller fighters. I don't ever expect to see the day where we all unanimously agree on these lists. To me though, some guys clearly deserve to be top ten, i.e.: Mayweather, Ward, Martinez, Marquez, Rigondeaux, W. Klitschko and some guys just COULD be around the bottom of the list.
2012/2013 is an end to an era, for me. The era when The Ring's 'word' actually ment something. Having Broner at 5, ghost at 8, and no rigo anywhere..... a complete and utter farce. And this is not a one off thing, they were already being horrendous with their rankings, horrendous, but just when you thought they couldn't be any worse, they put out this garbage. RIP Ring Magazine....
1. Mayweather, Jr. 2. Ward 3. Marquez 4. Rigondeaux 5. Hopkins 7. Pacquiao 6. Martinez 8. W. Klitschko 9. Donaire 10. Broner
ok lets not call it a p4p list. Lets call it a power ranking like they do in the NFL, NBA and other sports since some people seem to get butthurt about it
