Saturday nights Matchroom/Blackpool show very average?

I don't think this is a bad card. Its just bad compared to what we have been promised by Matchroom. As I said elsewhere I think theirs 3 50-50 fights on the bill.

Rose v Acline. Good step up for Rose, Acline is far far better than anybody he has every faced before. Cardle v Hughes is a great fight, 2 undefeated prospects. Clarke v Askin will be entertaining. The Selby fight isnt great but I like watching Selby.

If you had Rose vs Acline as a main event and any of those other 3 as an opener it would have been one of the better Friday Fight Night cards from a few years ago. Just we have come to expect better....as that's what we have been promised.

I think its a decent card but I wont be watching it, poor scheduling by St Eddie putting it on the same night as Tyson & Frank's card.

The Askin-Clarke fight is rather interesting, I really hope Matty gets his career back on track.

 

In fairness I think this card was set up before the Wembley one. Same as March 9th was in place before the March 16th card.

I honestly don't know why people are whinging about this card being weak when its got several interesting & competitive fights & another Selby showcase.

 

Who gives a damn about rose, askin, clarke etc...no marks, who most people haven't heard of. **** show, boring fighters (other then selby) and it shouldn't even be on tv.

F.w show has big names like harrison, cleverley, enzo, chisora. Fighters who people have actually heard of and want to see. Anyone who thinks this matchroom show is better then the f.w one is a complete mong.

Not at all. Not as if the f.w card has uncompetitive fights like the maloney latvian bum's. Harrison fight is intresting, as is enzo. Cleverley is a big name and everyone loves watching chisora no matter who he fights.

This matchroom card is something a dave coldwell type promoter would put on. This should not be on tv what so ever whether competitive or not. I'm a boxing fan and know nothing of askin or clarke and dont care. And rose is british at best, again don't want to watch it and I'm a boxing fan. God knows what the casuals think.

3 **** cards in a row from matchroom. Hope hearn reads the forums. He is taking the fans for mugs. Don't care if f.w cards been even worse other then this saturday. At least boxnation is showing quality international cards, something we don't get on sky. And now we not even getting good domestic cards pretty shocking hearn is so loved on here

 

Harrison is shot to bits and it will be sad to see Walsh dominate him,Enzo and Chisora are in mismatches.Buglioni is fighting somebody with a record 2-7. We will get to see if Rose can move above British level and Cardle-Hughes is a good little scrap and Askin-Clarke could be fun.The Selby fight is dissapointing but i would rather watch that then Enzo and Chisora.Delboy was in a good fight but they have changed his opponent. It`s a decent show and you realy think the Liverpool show was ****,I don`t think you will find many people to agree with you.

 

If Hearn was giving us boxing every week then the blackpool bill looks decent but for once a month it is pretty meh.

 

I agree its got a dave coldwell look about the card,and that aint a knock.But eddies playing at the mainstream and coldwells playing at the boxing fan.

 

Big name Enzo Harrison how many years ago were they. Big question how many unhppay fighters will there be in few weeks!

 

Funny thing is Rose has nearly 100,000 twitter followers, way more than all the others mentioned. He's even got more than Tyson Fury!! @Brian_Lion_Rose
