A great list but that's befuddling and just plain bad. What's that going to change. More merit on accomplishment and record rather than ability?
it's pretty much the same thing and won't solve the current issue with this crappy list, but some people seem to have a problem with the concept of a p4p list. I just see it as a power ranking.
There is NO WAY you can put Rigo above Martinez who beat a 185 pound Chavez while using skills and trading with him. None. Especially after one fight. :roflatsch
It's Mayweather Ward Martinez Marquez Rigo Bradley Winner of Trout-Canelo gets this spot Donaire Hopkins Mares I got Alexander 11 most casuals won't get that but I even like him against Bradley at 147, Mayweather beats him and I would love Pacquiao-Alexander, he would have went in my top 10 if Kell fight had happened P4P is subjective but they can be dumb if you have Broner but not Klitschko than you have a dumb list
I have no problem with him being ranked but the people saying he should be #3 or some such nonsense or ahead of proven fighters is asinine. Those people remind me of the Brits on here that were saying Ricky Hatton should be #1 if he beat Mayweather. :roflatsch
Do you still have Donaire in your top 10? Top p4p is pretty bad besides the four guys I put in front it's not like the other guys have done a lot more than him.
Alexander would beat Mike Jones, real fans no Alexander is a problem at 147, you know Schaefer wanted to get Ruslan for Alexander? I bet it would have been brutal for Ruslan. Did you see Maidana fight or do you just repeat what you hear?
I never said I agreed with the list as I think Broner is WAY too high and Donaire is too high after a loss also. Throw Rigo in the #8-#10 range and move him up if he can prove himself in another fight. One fight just simply isn't enough in my opinion. P4P is subjective anyway as I tend to reward guys that move up in weight and win or can fight or prove themselves in a few different weight classes. Staying in one Division and dominating while certainly is good to me is not as good as a guy that can fight in a few weight classes and against bigger men (like Martinez and Mayweather) Not saying you are wrong but P4P is a very difficult thing to rate depending on how you look at it. :good
I've seen Alexander vs Urango, Bradley, Bailey, Maidana, Matthysse, and part of Kotelnik. He's not number 11 p4p.
1 - Ward 2 - Mayweather 3 - JMM 4 - Martinez 5 - Rigo 6 - Wlad 7 - Mares 8 - Donaire 9 - Pac/Bradley 10 - Pac/Bradley 11 - Froch Idk :think just imo
