Frank would ov probably made brook more of a rated fighter. Hearns just made him look like a protected fighter.

  6. A protected fighter who was going to fight Devon Alexander in America

    What a bum

Kell brook is my favourite boxer. But when it comes to arguments with my friends, theres nothing i can say because he has been protected from 23rd Fight upwards

Tried the WBO route with Frank, tried the IBF route with Eddie, maybe time to try the WBA, they have about 4 version of the world title.

Kell hasn't fought since October, if he's not guaranteed a fight with Alexander after his recent injury then its a long time to wait around for new negotiations, which might never happen.

Brook-Purdy was always being lined up after the Alexander fight regardless of the result & its a fight I wanted to see.

    I'm with Nafflad.

Could they not be trying to make Alexander-Purdy more 'legit'?

By fighting a Hearn fighter it appeases him and he can say it was out of his hands etc

I agree with this. I don't mind Brook/Purdy at all and I'm surprised people think it's a bad fight. I'd expect Brook to win but it's hardly the worst fight out there.

You've got to to remember that Purdy was favoured to beat Jones, who faced Brook not so long ago and gave him a tough fight. They aren't a huge distance apart in terms of their achievements. I think Brook is by far the better fighter but they are the number 1 and 2 welterweights in the country right now.

If it got signed, I wouldn't be over the moon, but I think it'd be a fun fight. It's not that bad.

Can you imagine if Purdy beat him that really would be it.
