Ali just bigger and stronger, maybe Johnson had smarter wrestling techniques although Ali had a few of his own

Didn't you say Johnson could've been fucntionally stronger than foreman.. Yet he's weaker than Ali.. So you believe Ali is also stronger than Foreman? Odd

Ali is clearly stronger than Foreman. Watch their fight.

Ali is a phenomenally strong heavyweight, among the very strongest.

Ummm what am i looking for in the fight that I'm missing... Was he holding foreman's arms behind is back or something? I'm being serious here.. You act like he was able to tie up foreman as he pleased.. and that simply isn't the case.

Strength's a bit overrated, it's how you use it and manipulate your opponent as much as anything

I disagree, Foreman was the stronger man in there. As was Chuvalo when he fought Ali.

Ali was very strong, stronger than Jack Johnson, but he wasn't in the league of guys like Foreman, Chuvalo, or Rahman when it came to strength.

Norton said Ali was very strong physically

I agree with the later statement but not the former. For instance Ali could never manouvre Frazier like Foreman did so effortlessly nor could he swing Chuvalo 10 feet across the ring with 1 hand like Foreman did. Ali was better and more economical at using his strength than Foreman but Foreman is stronger.

Foreman looks like he can't get the better of Ali in the clinches in the RITJ because Ali for the most part would put all of his weight against the ropes, would wait for Foreman to punch himself out, pull on his neck and move. There's a reason Ali didn't stay in the center of the ring.
