Benitez is ****ing awesome when it comes to slipping punches, but you can't slip a hook to the liver and he can't hurt Chavez. Chavez breaks him down late, assuming it's very early in his 140 career.
Exactly.. look.. it took Rigo only 11 fights to beat an ATG fighter and one of the best fighters of this generation.. yet after more than 100 fights, what ****ing ATG has Chavez beaten? Guy tried getting froggy with an ATG like Whitaker, and look what happened.
80 cab drivers? Most chavez Haters claim it was 40; That makes you 2x less objective than the average Chavez hater. Yeah, I'll go ahead and waste more time on this topic with a rational fan like you:deal
Well, okay.. many people believed before the Rigo fight that Nonito had the potential to be an ATG.. I mean, he still can. He's not there yet, but if he can move up to featherweight and beats John or Garcia and then maybe one more belt at SFW, then he's definitely an ATG. But there's no question that he's one of the best fighters of this generation.
Alright bro, 80 cab drivers was a little bit too harsh. Maybe around 50-60 cab drivers would be appropriate.
yeah, because JCC stayed in the amateurs just as long as Rigo lol JCC had the title by his 44th fight, he was fighting contenders before that, which means he was at contender and champ level for roughly 70 fights. Somehow, that's not good enough for you? edit: Donaire is an ATG???
Haps not, but a prime, elite P4P fighter? Yes sir. The guy was accepting his FOTY Award just days before the fight took place. Chavez had two of those by my count (Taylor, Rosario).
Yo, this guy was a champion around his 40th fight. You're telling me it took 40 more fights for him to fight an ATG? The guys record is PADDED with garbage men and pizza delivery boys. Just before the Whitaker fight, the guy fought a guy with a losing record, something like 3-9. Yet this is your best champion. Okay. You're forgetting that the majority of Mexicans don't have amateur backgrounds. So again, I don't see the excuse for this guy.
you ****ing moron. That's the bad thing about the interwebs, morons can just up and speak anytime they want and say any stupid ****ing thing they want just like the people who actually know something can. In those days, fighters fought many stay busy fights against no-hopers for various reasons. Go look at Duran's record. Second, those 40 fights WERE his amateur career. Now, if you actually knew anything about boxing, you wouldn't have to be told that. So my advice to you, whenever you think you have something to say: phrase it in the form of a question instead of a declaration, because YDKSAB.
Holy ****, this guy is a ****ing idiot. The fact that you even comapred the great Roberto "Manos de Piedra" Duran to a bum like Chavez is asinine. Everything that you just said has been answered on my other post, do you understand English, amigo? Or do you want me to explain in Spanish?
Very educated and eloquent post. Exactly what I expected, given your level of knowledge. YDKSAB. You also suck at insults. Shut up.
Who said I was joking about anything that I said? I'm talking about boxing here, brah. Your post had nothing to do with boxing, therefore it wasn't worthy for a response. =[
