Tall, lanky world-class welterweight with a good jab would have been a very tough fight for Floyd, to say the least.

He's not that easy to outbox at range.

I'm not sure if Floyd has the offense to disrupt Forrest's rhythm and outpoint him.

Jones is too fast and sharp for Charles imo but Charles is maybe his biggest LHW threat

As a Mayweather fan I'd go with Forrest. Floyd would get outboxed and range and have to come forward, could he do it coming forward? I don't think so

Oscar's always been an honorable man. Dont know why his own race hated him

Well it really is lonely at the top. He was never racist either as he was dating at one time Shoanna Moakler, showing he could let any race into his incredible gene pool.
    I'll never get the hate.

Charles has real credentials when it comes to boxing smart. Charley Burley tried two strategies and Moore used up all of his tricks yet success eluded them both. It took Walcott two tries after Charles had taken his eye off the ball.

Jones was a very talented fighter but not near the level of Charles or the depth by the time he was fighting 175...Charles KO'd big Heavyweights and took solid shots from guys like Bob Satterfield and rebounded with an explosive KO and the same Bob Satterfield who dropped and dominated Nino Valdes, and KO'd Bob Baker and Cleveland "Big Cat"Williams

    Charles by KO

Burley didn't have the speed and power Jones had. Not even close really :conf

True that. Anyway, in the late forties, Charles was probably the best ever at 175lbs, at least I think so.
