the point is that he was contemplating retirement long before the fight. I love it how Vittards cannot accept that TKO6 is legit :bart
He talked about retirement just weeks before this fight happened. Its funny, but does anyone remember him saying he changed his mind about retiring after shredding Vittles up? Or is it more likely he was caught in the heat of the moment and just saying what he knew the fans wanted to hear?
Its actually quite sad. These losers want to condemn Lewis for winning and following through with his plans, yet give Vittles a pass for quitting against Byrd and never seeking a rematch. Ahh double standards, they make planet Klit go round! :hey
lewis promised a rematch after the FIGHT! you are so delusional with your beliefs that you ignore clear facts right in front of you. And no, nobody was going to pay for a 2 armed Vitali to destroy Byrd when a 1 armed version won 8 out of 9 rounds. EVERYONE wanted to watch the rematch, it would have been a superfight and Lennox's biggest career payday.
Vitaly had 2 arms for 7 rounds and couldn't destroy Byrd. And the German fans were cheering Byrd after the fight so the should be little doubt the would pony up for a rematch, Dr. Delusional.! :yep
vitali injured himself in the 2nd round so its pretty opposite to what your delusional mind is saying. Byrd was outclassed by a 1 armed Vitali. Embarrassing, even though Byrd is a no namer to boxing history anyway.
I have watched the end of that fight about 12 times and every time I notice how Vittles does not show the slightest sign of uncomfort as the violently YANK the gloves of him at the end of the fight. I do not think Vittles was injured. if so its ****ing Byrd who hits as hard as my teenage daughter, why would he ****ing quit?
Bull****. He never complained once about it till the end of the 7th and was using it the whole time. Quit with the lies klitard, ill post the video when I get home later tonight.
Wrong, he and his trainer realized both claimed in the 2nd. If you look past the 2nd round, you can see that Vitali not only looks uncomfortable but fights completely different than the first 2 rounds. Vitali couldn't put any power in his shots with 1 of his arms so he was literally using it as a type of distraction but it was doing nothing in terms of damage. Byrd would have KTFO'd with a 2 armed Vitali just like the worse Klitschko did.
Byrd fought a very smart fight. Vitali has problems with this kind of boxers. His punches miss the target. Holyfield had the same injury against Byrd. Vitali gave up after round 9. Legal win for Byrd and a great one. Underrated fighter.
:good Byrd wants a rematch in 2004! It would have been for unification but Vitali fought Danny Williams.
