I remember Cintro (A power hitter) land at least two hard flush shots on Canelo. Took them very well.

 

i remember Jose Cotto (A light hitting welter) putting him on ***** street and almost KOing him in one round. Didn't take them very well.

That means ****, Austin isnt a heavy hitter, I mean he didnt drop or stop cotto, couldnt drop or stop Delvin who was stopped by Feliciano....

Trout is right. But I also don't think he's been hit by anybody with Canelo's power.

 

Trout has more power than people think..
been watching all the fights i can get my hands on, and he has a habit of hurting his opponents late in the fight..

He got caught by a punch he didn't see coming. He handled the situation extermely well.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, and many other fighters have all been rocked by lesser, and below average power punchers.

 

Cintron is pretty much a career WW. He was definitely a big puncher until stepping up to the big boys, Margarito, Martinez, etc. Ever since the fiasco with Williams, Cintron has been a real bum. His last fight recently on ESPN he definitely should have won, and did show more heart than were accustomed to, but I don't think he classifies as a journeyman at 147 or 154.
I don't think Trout has the one punch KO power to put Canelo to sleep, but enough power to keep him off him, and enough power that if he lands a perfect counter Canelo going to be hurting. Trout better find a way to get the KO if he wants to win.

 

I think it is safe to say everyone wants to see what happens "when".

 

Cintron hit him with big rights when canelo had him in the ropes, canelo ate them.

Mosley hit canelo with a huge ass right that many people talk about on ESB, same punch that he almost ktfo mayweather, canelo ate it didn't even back up and they landed right on the chin or side of head.same how Cintron caught him in the middle of an exchange on the ropes when canelo cuts the ring and goes to work.

Oh, so Canelo has to worry about Trout, but when has trout fought someone who is as fast, powerful accurate, and prime as Canelo?

You act like all Trout has to do is show up.

I assure you, that Trout has never fought anyone like Saul Alvarez who will put his power punches together, with speed, accuracy, and power.

You think Canelo is going to be sluggish like Cotto? Do you think Canelo is past his prime like Cotto?

Canelo will take whatever Trout has and deliver his with more force and more success.
