Kevin Iole Chris Mannix Dan Rafael All guys who cover boxing, had ridiculous scorecards of 114-113 Rigo... Media bias much??? IMO, the bias is quite explainable. The media has built a good relationship wit Nonito. He's been in high profile fights, so they interview him a ton, get to.know him & Rachel, & Donaire is a friendly guy, easy to.talk to. These are the.same guys who voted him fighter of the year. Rigo on the other hand, is the opposite. He has not been in many high profile fights, so they have not interviewed him or got to.know him much. Also, there is a language barrier as Rigo only speaks Espanol, so.the media cant even talk directly to.Rigo, who is a lowkey guy himself. It's human nature. If you see two fuys fighting, 1 guy you consider.your friend, another guy you barely know,.who.would you give the close.rounds to, or favor??? It's still dispicable, MEDIA BIAS is Fugging up our sport these guys need to be called out for it!
To be fair, the rounds where Rigo simply ran skewed the perception of who was winning. I had Rigo win 8-4 myself, but I can see how people would favour Donaire, seeing how the later kept going forward and initiating.
What close rounds? These guys were paid off. Plain & simple. They're whores, part of the propaganda machine, and they do what they're told.
