**** me this is a tough one to call....

This is Canelo's first legit test (& a very tough one to)

I'm not convinced GBP ever wanted this fight either... They were effectively backed in to a corner after injuries to Williams, Ortiz, & then Cotto's defeat.

I really fancy Trout to just box his way to a UD.. Only problem is he won't get a decision victory in Texas. I can see Trout putting the early rounds away with Canelo coming on late...

But If Canelo is as good as they say he is.. When he does start to walk Trout down later on in the fight, that's his cue to take him out.

Errr **** it, against my better judgement I'm jumping on the hype train... Canelo by stoppage.

Trout by UD. but i to fear the judges will gift Canelo the decision.

I've gone for Alvarez late stoppage, but i'll be happy with who ever wins, Boxing needs more unifications.

I like Trout, I like how he has handled himself in the press this week.

I can see him having too much for Canelo and winning by a comfortable points margin.

  9. Maybe you got 3.0 with decimal odds on. AKA 2/1.

    Correct,

But Cotto did eventually seem to grow at 54, enough so that most of the world acknowledged him as a JrMW no longer a guy who was just struggling to make 47.

Mayorga as shot as he was must of been 170 on the night against Cotto and Cotto slugged it out with him without ever looking like "the smaller man". Personally I had Cotto picked to beat Alvarez after Mayweather, so I was definitely won over by Cotto as a JrMW despite Arum's match making at the weight.

Over rating Trout goes hand in hand with the over rating of Saul Alvarez on a universal level! what Trout has will trouble Canelo despite Canelo never really being bothered too much with what he has had to deal with to date. Again a point worth noting, is Alvarez stepping up his levels by fighting Trout? my opinion is yes he is.
