    Benitez is a 5'10" master defensive specialist and fights best off the ropes making you miss Hearns, leonard and Duran though admittedly Duran at 154 was not at his best fighting weight. Still if bigger, faster, stronger guys couldnt land on The Radar you think Chavez will? Benitez won the Title at 140 vs Cervantes he was 17 yrs old!!!!!

    Any prudent objective fight fan has to understand that Chavez wont land on Benitez who is a master of positioning, defense, and inside fighting he is bigger and faster than JC, Chavez is tailor made for Benitez! tailor made, styles make fights and unfortunately Benitez would be a nightmare for Chavez and would win night and day everyday and twice on Sunday.

    Chavez is a body puncher with a titanium chin. The body doesn't move, which negates 90% of Benitez's defensive genius, and Benitez wasn't really a mover. Benitez might gut it out and take that punishment for the win, but he's gonna be hurting. At 140 I really think JCC would chop him down and stop him late, it takes someone who's going to step and step and step all night long to beat Chavez. If you stay in front of him you're toast. Would be a hell of a fight.

    Chavez would have smashed up Cervantes much easier than he did Ruben Castillo, that's not really much of a comparison point.
