Britards at their best - acting ******ed in face of the facts. All sources from 2003 point to Lewis intention to fight on before WBC force Lewis to fight Vitali again.
Your nuthugging lies grow more pathetic by the day. Watch the HBO replay and he clearly doesn't complain till the 7th and QUITS 2 rounds later. You can spew all you want about what he would of done, but the fact is he didn't. And he didn't seek to avenge his quit job after he promised the crowd he would get his title back (ie rematch Byrd) even though Byrd was highly ranked along with him the next several years. Seems like a Klit bro trademark that if one brother has trouble and loses he passes that opponent off to the other brother. BUT, Lewis had some sort of obligation to rematch even though he had already said he was planning on retiring and won outright. Lol, ****ing Klitards!!
Yeah, except just days before Johnson dropped out Lewis said he wanted one more superfight with either Vittles or Jones and was going to retire. You conveniently left that out as usual.
Byrd gave up 7 inches in height and nearly 40lbs and made Vits look silly given those dimensions. I've never seen a featherfisted fighter back a guy that big up as often as he did and make him miss so much.
Vitali is great against plodders, men who don't move that well. But when he gets to fight a guy who is defensively sound, he just starts destroying his own glass shoulders. Not sure how true this statement was but I've read more fighters had problems with their shoulders after fighting Byrd (Holyfield included) So if more fighters had shoulder injuries after Byrd it was no freak injury at all.
Ok just watched Vittles-Byrd again. I was wrong about the injury occuring in the 7th. There was NO complaint about the injury until the end of the 8th round (go to 39:15 of video). In fact Vits was throwing the right with authority the whole fight. In the 8th round alone he threw 81 punches. The fact is he was sucking wind and breathing out of his mouth by the 5th round. At 41:20 the crowd goes wild for Byrd after Vits QUITS. I the interview after the fight Vittles says after round 3 he has a problem with southpaws, not that he was injured. He goes on to say he will "come back sound and win back my title". Of course he never did this because he never pursued the rematch because Byrd made him look awful. Vittles with his huge size advantage only landed 8 more punches than Byrd at a meager clip of 26%. Chris on the other hand landed at 44%. The facts speak for themselves. Based on the punch stats alone there should have been a rematch. Based on Vits quiting he should have sought a rematch. So all the whining by klitards about Lewis retiring is for nothing when your hero quit (lost) and didn't rematch. Bite it hypoctits!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m51pATaXdjw
The guy just isn't as durable as he comes off and had terrible stamina for this fight. He could fight Byrd 10 times and he wouldn't look good in any of them. Byrd was losing, but the rounds were close and Vits was exhausted. If he didn't quit Byrd was going to stop him. That not saying Byrd was the better fighter, its just a terrible styles match up for Vits and he knew it.
True. Wlad shows against Byrd 2 with Emanuel Steward how to fight well such kind of fighter. Wlad learned and improved as a fighter. Vitali did not. This is the reason he ducked Haye today.
You forgot to add that Byrd took the fight at ten days notice with no chance for proper weight management and no time to prepare a full game plan.
Come on bro, you know the Klitards are gonna have a hard enough time processing the facts I've provided. They're in the deep end of the pool now and sinking fast. If we tie this last bit of info to their legs, this other fact they like to ignore, they'll go down like the Titanic.
