Yes, if the judges feel under pressure with so much talk of a robbery for Alvarez, they may be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt to Trout in close rounds to prevent the percieved robbery. I think that's what happened with Pac-Bradley. Not saying its going to happen here but its hard to know what way judges are thinking/scoring

All my V-cash is on the underdog. Just some wishful thinking because the odds are good.

But I pick Canelo to win.

116-112 decision, close tussle in the early goings but then Canelo's firepower will slowly get to Trout and making him more defensive and reluctant to fire back.

The red headed freckled face cartoon is getting the brakes beat off him and his gas tank will be on empty in the 10th and trout will end it with combinations while he's on the ropes taking too much punishment.

Close but Canelo takes the close rounds by being more aggressive I predict 7 rounds to 5 to the ginge

If you watch the Shane Mosley fight, it shows that Canelo can box on the outside pretty well.

The guy is young, has all Mexican community behind him meaning he will generate huge PPV numers and like we see against Trout huge gate revenue 34k thickets sold was it ? Everybody who's in the business will want him to succede, and match him guys like Mayweather, Cotto, Bradley, Pacquiao, Marquez, Malignaggi. And he will generate in all those fight huge amounts of cash that will feed a whole fleet of peoples that have jobs around boxing. Tv stations, Managers, Promoters, Trainers, Referees, Boxing organizations etc.

    Controversial draw :deal

Trout isn't popular enough to beat Canelo on points

I won't count on that robbery for Canelo theory.

Cotto, who is a much bigger draw, with PR fanbase behind him, and would surely sell more in a match-up against Canelo lost fairly.

They weren't prepared, they weren't expecting that, they probably never though they need any kind of advantage.
In the Cotto match everybody in his Camp were overconfident, Cotto is also at the end of his career.
I'm pretty sure at least 1 judge in this fight is there with his homework already assigned to him.

Alvarez UD Trout. Alvarez is stronger than Cotto.

I think Trout takes over early and will lead on the cards before Canelo's composure and better accuracy helps him pick the middle / late round up. I think if it goes the distance more people will have Trout winning on the cards than Canelo but due to one fighter being somewhat of a Golden Goose we may see some controversy. I give Canelo a small chance of stopping Trout late if Trout becomes tired and sloppy due to his higher workrate early in the fight. I have Trout by decision on my card, something like 7-5 after a few rough patches late in the fight. I see the judges having it the other way round and giving Canelo the decision. Both fighters stock goes up after this IMO.
