Gotta love fly-by-night promotions, lots of great stories there. Like the goofs serving up Ali-Berbick not thinking to procure a ****ing bell.

    1. Bobby Chacon Vs Bazooka Limon IV; incredible action fight, dramatic throughout with one of the most jaw dropping closing moments of all time. The culmination of years of action fights between hugely exciting combatants.

    2. Muhammad Ali Vs George Foreman; This is a mind blowing watch for me. Sure, it gets ugly at times. But the setting, the story, the men involved, the incredible ending. Sure Frazier-Ali I is the better contest, but this fight is more astonishing to me when watching it.

    3. Israel Vasquez Vs Rafael Marquez III; like Chacon and Limon these two knew everything they needed to know about the other by this fight and put it all together to put on one of the great fights. Vasquez down for the first time in the trilogy, Rafa' making a great showing, only for Vasquez to snatch victory right at the last second. The 12th round is one of the best examples of a fighter leaving it all in the ring. The ending sequence perfect.

    4. Tony Canzoneri Vs Kid Chocolate I; I care not for sound, it's a shame, but it forces you to watch it unfold with less wavering eyes than usual. The technique on display is top drawer, it's two greats, the pace is frenetic throughout, a terrific, beautiful contest.

    5. Carlos Zarate Vs Alfonso Zamora; check out their records going in. Look how they engaged each other. Chin Vs Chin. Bombs fly. And the guy who looks about to give a sermon, or launch a karate assault before being bulldozed by Mexican old bill. Mental.

    6. Matthew Saad Muhammad Vs John Conteh I; What a blend this was; a battle of jabs, the sublime skills of Conteh, with Saad pulling out another miracle. A great 15 round championship fight between two of the best in one of the greatest light heavyweight era's of all time.

    7. Riddick Bowe Vs Evander's Holyfield I; 10th round is my favourite round ever. And the rest? F'n Hell.

    8. Aaron Pryor Vs Alexis Arguello I; I don't need to explain this one.

    9. Jung Koo Chang Vs Katsuo Tokashiki; incredible opening round, back and forth fight, Chang having to old man his way through it with clever tactics, then arguably Chang's greatest flow of punches ever, chasing Tokashiki round the ring like a video game character, the accurate rights a sight to behold. What a fight and what a fighter Chang is to watch in full flow, though he'd arguably already started to slip a little.

    10. Kid Gavilan Vs Gil Turner; Great fight between one of the very greatest fighters ever and one of the best to never win a title. The ending is Williams-Jack-esque, a real shellacking.

Theses sort of lists will always fail to please everyone that reads them I have nearly all of the fights that are listed ( the filmed ones anyway) and like everybody else I would have the fights in a different order . And like most that have seen this list of epic battles I have the odd fight that I am just a little disappointed didn't make it

    Great work FLEA

Corrie Sanders - Hasim Rahman is also an extremely good.

It's like Lyle-Foreman except even weirder, last 2 rounds got a bit "boring" (relatively) because Sanders had zero gas left.
But before that it was a true war, Rahman was on his way to being stopped and boom down goes Sanders.

I was a little surprised hagler/leonard made the top 100 and more so by it being so high the fight was not really that special .

Anyone know if theres anywhere I can watch Zale-Graciano 1. I looked on youtube and only found clips from the second and third fights which were outrageous! I really wanna see this fight and would appreciate it if anyone could point me to a site that has it or if it is available on DVD?

You are probably going to need some form of 'time machine', and remember to take the camera with you!
