I agree as its essential for a guy with good hands to possesse a quality low kick. they're typically found together. But in the context of that fight I think Diaz would have struggled with a low kick. He'd have kept missing the patient fleet footed opponent and proabaly found himself off balance and easily countered. Nate doesn't look to comfortable using his feet. And even for a competent kicker it's tough to land low kicks against a fast moving retreating target.
