Sorry no way Canelo won that manny rounds over Trout, period. At best you might be able to give him a 1pt victory, but if anyone won wide it was Trout.

Canelo fought a shitty fight, hell.

 

Bias as **** on here. Alvarez landed the telling blows throughout the whole fight. You can count on 1 hand the clean shots trout landed.

They even put the belts on Canelo before the results were anounced. Don't see Trout upset

 

Canelo landed most of the meaningful punches, outboxed Trout and almost outclassed him at times -- but he fought way too conservative. I think he stilll won, but he made it closer then it should have been.

Either way.. Canelo is absolutely the real deal, kid is a beast.


.. and open scoring is an absolutely terrible idea.

Damn those are some horrible scorecards. The fight was EXTREMELY CLOSE. That is why I don't care if someone scored it for Trout. What was Showtimes scorecard?

Why didn't Trout go for the knockout? He knew that the fight up until that point was too close to favour him. He should have been more aggressive.

 

Trout should've opened up more, cause you can't call it anything shady off ineffective jabbing in 8 riunds. Canelo did the hard shot work and Trout missed so many ones that he actually looked bad. Close but the KD made it clear

 

I had Trout up 114-113...But a couple of rounds were close, so I can't ***** about Canelo winning...

I can, however, ***** about Stanley Christodoulou's card. That was awful.
