    I score fights on the punches landed. I think people are reacting that way because they expected Canelo to press all the time. Instead he gave a different look, counter punched him, even outjabbed him at times. And landed the harder cleaner punches. I have it close. Two round for Canelo. Trout fought very well but was KD and that probably decided the fight.

    Trout says no excuses, Alvarez was the better man tonight.

    He says Alvarez caught him with a great shot in the 7th. He says you learn more from a loss. He says he didn't underestimate Alvarez or anything but they were preparing for a different style and Alvarez surprised him with all his movement.

    Trout sends a thanks to Al Haymon. (for what? He didn't do his job... :yep)

    It's easy to be a fan of Austin Trout. I'm looking forward to seeing him bounce back in the future. He has no shame in his performance tonight and deserves credit. This was high level stuff tonight and Trout came ready to fight, just got outboxed. It happens.
