I know you're new to ESB Only because you're the only one who would quote the stupidest poster in the forum atsch
:deal Floyd wants none of that. Those punches would have floyd pissing blood, seriously. Canelo's the real deal.
Floyd who can only get up to 151 at the most taking on a puncher like Canelo who goes up to 171. I don't know about that one. I didn't know he gets up to that much. 20lb weight disadvantage? Before I was like he better take the fight but now I think it's up to him. Cool with whatever way he decides.
Canelo is too strong for him. Let's face it, Floyd won't be able to move around as Trout showed tonight. He'd be a sitting duck standing flat-footed in front of Canelo. I think Floyd can beat him, but he'd have to stay on the move and outbox him from the outside.
Exactly. Floyd is the better boxer, and that defense of his is superb, but with his legs now on their way out he'd inevitably eat some hard leather from a much bigger man. He doesn't want that.
Canelo proved he is a much better boxer than people thought. Stamina is his obvious downfall, but he throws explosive combinations.
Agreed. Canelo can compete at a range better than people might imagine. Stamina would be his biggest issue but I'd still pick him.
If Floyd wanted the fight, he would have signed the contract and got that money. Floyd doesn't want any part of Alvarez, and neither do the networks. Not yet, anyway. You can still make money off of Floyd, but you just have to be more selective. You put Floyd in with guys like Garcia, who will be next. You put Floyd in with Alvarez when Floyd is basically finished. If Floyd isn't scared, they'll put him in with Alvarez a few fights down the road.
