Kid is a beast, no question. He was outboxing and outclassing Trout almost at will. He fought very conservative though (open scoring might of had something to do with it).. but when he unloaded, he was on another level. Kid has nuclear bombs in his hands. Super smart fighter. He surprised me with his boxing ability, and actually beating Trout at his own game. I think he could have stepped it up and finished Trout / made it more definitive, but he did enough to win nonetheless.

Canelo - Floyd anyone? I don't think Floyd goes anywhere near this kid.

He is very very good no doubt, he proved it tonight, i did score it for Trout but it was that close that either guy could win.

I was expecting a lot better. He doesn't live up to the hype.

A tad bit excessive in your praise. Nuclear bombs in his hands? Not sure I agree. He done well to get the win and his defence was a lot better, but he also disappointed me in a few areas - mainly his stamina. A bit of an underwhelming performance, to be honest.

He fought a very difficult opponent , and open scoring (a ******ed idea) was a factor. He already knew he had the fight won so he didnt need to step it up.

Youre an idiot. His defense was solid, but his stamina was ****. A few punches per round saved him. Stop posting about boxibg youre an embarrassment

I don't think that played that much of a factor in his poor workrate. Canelo's stamina is known to be poor, and tonight just further confirmed it.

I don't think it's a stamina problem, he's just very patient. Maybe overly-patient, but that's something he can change.

Showtime where very biased towards Trout tonight, which surprised me. They where exaggerating how tired Canelo was, who never got out of 2nd gear.

Oh please! I'm glad your high off your ass on Canelo's body odor right now but give Trout some damn respect. Plenty of times during that fight Trout was stickin' and movin' and Canelo had no ideas. The best he could come up with was to wait for Trout to make a mistake. He found an answer with that knock down.

No, he's not. Lara would beat him. If Floyd's legs weren't shot to ****, I'd give him the edge to outbox Canelo too.
