Am I happy?? Sure! But I'm also a bit sad. I had a feeling Canelo had some stamina issues. I like Canelo, because he is a humble guy. He is a student of the game. His Idol is ALI! But I just don't think he has the ability to be GREAT!!! I don't question his skill. I don't question his intelligence (like I stated in prior threads). I just think his physical will prevent him from taking the next step to greatness! I HOPE HE PROVES ME WRONG! But I think the physical aspect of the game is extremely important. Canelo will be undersized as he moves up to 160. And he will probably be limited in his stamina. He want's to be great and is dedicated. He respects the sport and shows MAD love to his fans. He claims that "it's a RESPONSIBILITY to bring the best to his fans" but when it's all said and done I think he will struggle with his physical weakness. I stated in earlier post that I was never concerned with his boxing IQ (even though he is 22) or his skills but I was DEFINITELY concerned with his physical. Maybe with time he can improve, but I'm not optimistic. I really hope he continues to win but I have a feeling he will struggle in the long run. I'm still proud of him as a Mexican-American but I don't think he can beat May. I think May will see what I'm seeing and this will increase the chances of him taking the fight. PROPS TO CANELO THOUGH! VIVA MEXICO! He proved to be an intelligent boxer and student of the game, even at the tender age of 22. Thoughts????

Yes he could beat May . He's much bigger, hits like a mule, very smart . Trout is a difficult / awkard fight. Canelo would walk floyd down and tear into him. He's got a very bright future either way.

I think he could beat Mayweather but more to do with size difference than anything.

Both Trout and Canelo can beat Floyd.
They're much bigger and have the skills... I'm pretty sure Floyd won't go back to 154, or if he does it's to fight a lesser opponent.

Save this one for later in the week, man. Surprised you're not enjoying the moment.

Canelo impressed pretty much everybody in one way or another.

Both could win this fight. Canelo doesn't really impress me much (and I felt a strong sense of "neither of these guys are truly great fighters or have any real shot of becoming one in the future" tonight), but he's far bigger than Mayweather and has good explosiveness, power, and handspeed when he actually lets his shots go.

I'm very negative brother. You know I used to love Mayweather until he changed. I love Canelo But it still doesn't make me biased. May is extremely skilled. Not just in boxing terms but his physical. In my honest opinion, I think Canleo could beat him if he had better stamina. But I just don't see it. Canleo doesn't lack skill or intelligence. He lacks the physical aspect! That's very important in boxing. He is just too big for a Mexican. Like I told one of my friends, If canelo had Salvador Sanchez stamina, nobody could beat him.

Hmm, So who why does Pacquiao have victories over ATGs that Mayweather has never fought?
