Saying you believe Trout won the fight makes you a Canelo hater now?:patsch Intelligent discussion in ESB really is dead.

Canelo landed 26%, Trout 20%. Canelo landed the harder punches and put Trout down. Game over.:deal

you ca score it either way i suppose.

For me Scoring it for Alvarez is more accurate in terms of who actually won the Fight.

He consistlently landed the harder eye catching shots.

It looked to me that nearly all trouts shots were glancing/partially blocked.

So to me it was clear Alvarez one.

But it was a great close fight.

Did Alvarez even land a jab? I saw Canelo swinging @ air ALL night - that is WHEN he bothered to throw a punch.

This was nothing short of a daylight robbery...

The person who won the fight got the belts. Canelo got the belts. He won the fight. He was announced the winner via unanimous decision, by a fairly wide margin on the official cards. He also scored the only knockdown in the fight. That's not to say you are wrong believing Trout won. I think many times the judges decisions are questionable, but in this one Trout himself accepeted defeat in the post fight interview said Canelo was the better stronger fighter.

Did i type that? Dont try and put words in my mouth like i said that. If your not sure ask what i mean instead of trying to make me look like a complete fool.. Canelo is getting abused on here for not fighting a big name.. He fights the biggest name available at LM right now. And he arguably wins comfortable (depending how you saw the fight) and yet hes still getting slated?

If you only Outland by ONLY 30 punches while throwing 338 punches more, it's quite ****, especially when they just jabs

Scorecards should have been closer but canelo won

Judging a fight after stats his horrible it's also a hhuge problem in mma this isn't amateur boxing and those stats score even punches amateur judges would never score as a clean punch. You shall NEVER score a fight after stats

    Quality came from Canelo.

    Quantity came from Trout.

Down to what the judges on the night get impressed by seriously how many times does this happen a year.
