C= close rounds which could have gone either way. Otherwise the rounds were clear. 1 Trout 2 Alvarez 3 Alvarez (C) 4 Trout 5 Trout (C) 6 Trout 7 Alvarez (10-8) 8 Trout 9 Alvarez 10 Trout (C) 11 Alvarez (C) 12 Trout I had it 114-113 Trout. It is worth nothing, however, that I had it 104-104 going into the last round. Alvarez knew he had the fight in the bag at this point so he just gave away the round. If the judges had the fight close at that point, Alvarez could have won the round and the fight. I thought overall Alvarez was the better fighter. 115-112 to either fight is acceptable. Anything wider than that is just bad scoring.
How is everyone scoring this a 10-8 round? Trout came back after the knockdown immediately and dominated the round. 10-9
1. Trout 2. Canelo 3. Trout 4. Trout 5. Trout 6. Trout 7. Canelo 10-8 8. Trout 9. Canelo 10. Trout 11. Canelo 12. Trout Trout 115-112 Will score it again today though since so many people have Canelo winning.
1 Trout 2 Canelo 3 Canelo 4 Trout 5 Trout 6 Trout 7 Canelo 8 Trout 9 canelo 10 trout 11 canelo 12 trout Honestly if you're a fan of Canelo, you probably gave him the close rounds, same with if you're a Trout fan you gave him the close rounds. I really have to watch the fight again. It seemed like Trout had ring generalship in most of the close rounds and was the aggressor. Judging it really came down to do you reward more damaging shots or more punches landed
