Peter Fury

Steve Cunningham was a significant step up in opposition. He exploited weaknesses that Tyson Fury always shows.

Can't believe some of you expected this to be an easy fight for Tyson Fury. He did fine considering the opponent, (his best yet by far), and without Peter Fury.

When has Tyson Fury ever looked like a sure-fire successor to the Klitschkos ? :huh

In real terms this was a good win/performance from Tyson Fury.

 

Peter is extremely important to Tysons chances of winning a heavyweight title, hopefully next time they'll be able to sort it out before hand so that he can enter the country because Tyson needs to box at range and keep calm, last night he was fighting like a nutter.

He won in a very entertaining fight against a very good opponent, Tyson is in my eyes the 5th best heavyweight in the world after Wlad, Vitali, Haye and Pulev and I can't see anyone outside of them beating him.

Tyson Fury will win a heavyweight title, just needs Peter there to look after him and coach him properly.

I agree with all of the above, except I think Fury would beat Pulev. Pulev has gathered a lot of hype from very little (wins over Ustinov & Dimitrenko don't really compare to Fury beating Chisora, Johnson & Cunningham). Fury would have to box smart to win rather than his raging bull act from last night, but Pulev isn't big enough, fast enough or hits hard enough in my opinion.

Hopefully we will find out for sure in Fury's next fight:good

 

I think Tyson would have a good chance against Haye, old Vitali or Pulev too, they'd all be decent fights.

I'd like to see him fight Arreola for the WBC World Title next, that fight would be huge in America.

He would get beaten badly against all 3.

As for the supposed definite fight now against Pulev, that will not happen.

A far better fight due to money will be Fury v Haye, watch the hype really begin concerning that fight.
