Curtis from a neutral point of view how would you have seen Ricky v Scott going?

I bet you feel a little silly now Moog let's be honest and I have told you both Liam and Scott would have been badly hurt if they ever fought Ricky Burns totally different level, I know some fight that are being made at LW that should be good, hope Scott gets out again soon and does well but now all the talk of him and Ricky will stop thank ****.

 

Lol. Am dissapointed with result, was very close, closer that I obviously expected, though I thought Scott edged it by a round or two, so did everyone in pub I was in. Walsh was physically stronger than I thought though, but both hurt each other, Walsh has had above both eyes stiched up, and said his whole body is sore - Scott will be the same. Was proud of the way Scott dug in as he tired, the pace of fight was relentless. No way did Walsh win by 4 and 6 rounds as judges say. Also as agreed Billy 'we should listen to both sides of a story and I was wrong with my prediction'. Out of interest Billy how did you score the fight ?

Yes I do a little as I thought Scott would win well, not sour grapes I did think he edged it, he was forcing fight. As for Ricky, that is a pipe dream now - unless Scott can improve a lot on last night I have to admit he would not beat ricky now. In his peak I believe he would have beat Ricky, but he is not in his prime unfortunately.

 

This is one of the most sensible posts iv read on here and I couldn't agree more. The timing and that bit of end of the fight stamina is all that is needed here. He still has the ring craft qnd desire so the comeback can still be a success. Its no ricky hatton comeback anyway which is good to see he's obviously kept himself in relatively good nick in his time out otherwise last night wouldn't have been possible performance wise. Onwards and upwards scott and welldone

Never got tay see the fight as a wisna back from the fishin but glad harrison done himself proud, agree he should keep going and further restore his reputation,good domestic fights there for him and then you never know, well done scotty.
