, although close on the cards, I only see one winner and that is Alvarez, He landed the better punches, showed better Defence and offence. Trout simply had workrate on his side. Trout Even admitted he lost to the better man and he did. No way did Trout win that fight, those who have trout winning by more than a point, clearly didn't count Canelo's defence, Defence alone is component on scoring.

yeah there were some close rounds and what do you take in count when there are close rounds? who punched the cleaner shots, who had the bigger shots landed and that was each time canelo. easy decision. canelo made him miss so much and landed proper shots. trout when he landed, which wasnt much, because mostly he was punching air or canelo stomach , but he did not punch him clear in the face, like canelo did to him all day long.

    esb is lost.

    Exactly my score.:good
But there were some close rds.
Not a robbery but the judge giving canelo 119-108 should be castrated immediately .

Trout did not win that 11th round, I'm surprised anybody is giving him that round cause he pratically gave it away.

    12 trout

    117- 112 trout

I will say though, after 4 I agree with Paulie and Al that Alvarez was up a rd. But really, thats when it appeared he was gassing each rd.

There's no doubt Alvarez landed harder bombs in this one. I just cant say he beat Trout.

And in the KD rd.....how do ya call it 10-8. He wasnt even competitive after the KD. Its like he was trying to avoid getting KDd himself.:rofl

Not happy with the judging in this one. But it really wasnt a robbery as a couple those rds, maybe 4, 9, 12 coulda been scored either way, and 7 coulda went 10-8 to a moron.:thumbsup

This. Nothing is harder in boxing than knocking a guy down with a hard single shot especially at this level, You have to differentiate that from a normal round Trout got put on the canvas. A good recovery and just edging the rest of the round can't make that a 10-9 you have to come back like a bat out of hell and Trout didn't do that. What Canelo did was vastly more difficult and impressive.
