These athlete praise Al Haymon rightfully so, but Golden Boy has pull boxing ranks. I had this discussion, with some friends that Trout would have to destroy or knock out Canelo to win. I have no problem with the decision, but the fight was alot closer than those horrid cards. The open scoring also help beat trout, after he was told he was down after four rounds when it was clearly Trout 3-1, I knew the fight was over.

I think the fans influenced the cards

The **** are you all talking about no way you could give that fight to Trout there is NO way.
Scoring wise I have no clue what your talking about either, Canelo looked like Whitaker in there last night he made Trout miss miss and miss more....
Trout didnt complain, why is that? Why did he say he is okay with the decision? he knows how badly he was missing in there....

Canelo dominated Trout fight wasnt close IMO think you all better rewatch the ****

Close fight but Canelo edged it.

    Horrible scorecards tho.

That one wide scorecard was awful, but the other two -- 116-111 and 115-112 -- were ok.

116-111 was still a little too wide, 115-112, or 114-113 is acceptable.

I had it 114-114, but after watching rd 7 again, I have it 114-113 for Alvarez.

Trout has class, he would never complain about bogus scoring like that. When Trout rewatches the fight, he will see what most unbiased people saw, that Canelo took 2/3rds of each round off, and didn't throw many punches.

Canelo is the first boxer since Willie Pep to win a round without throwing punches, I exaggerate slightly, but people get my gist.

    114-113 Alvarez

Given what he was able to do prior to being aware of the last open scoring notification, I think he could've won wider.

Just rewatched it. Still the same score for me 114-113 for Canelo. Only difference in the fight was the knock down.

  13. judges knew that if they didn't give the fight to canelo the beaner crowd would swarm and murder them.
