I said it straight away when we were watching it,sent my mate a text and he agreed once he saw it again. Nobody on the tv or at ringside seemed to pick it up though. When you watch the reverse view it is blatant. I was surprised the ref didn't spot it as fury had been pushing his luck all night.

its a grey area, see hatton-mayweather, mayweather forearmed the **** out of hatton the whole fight

its technically illegal but as hatton himself says "its not a tea party in there"

Illegal but boxing is so lax on the rules that its just further embarassment. The standard is incredibly low. There is absolutely no clarity on scoring or rules. Its all based on where the money is.

Read an article with Cunningham and Richardson moaning about this. They can get the **** over it. How many times are USA fighters allowed to get away with murder against Europeans, especially British fighters? Even one of Richardson's own fighters (Hopkins) is the worst in the sport for it.

    Sour grapes.

Shouldn't be allowed to use your elbows for leverage at all. So yes, it was illegal, but it would take a brave ref to DQ someone for it.

It's not a "grey area" at all

It was illegal, rough house tactics because he was being outboxed.

That particular face-palm manouver was nasty, Cunningham's head was at an extreme angle, that punch could have pushed his neck further in a direction that wasn't able to go.

The push that began the final onslaught as well, rough house tactics of a desperate man.

What Fury was doing belong in a pub carpark, not a boxing ring.

Although to be fair, he's hardly the only boxer to employ stuff like that.

Lennox's KO of Grant wasn't all that legit as well. He held Grant's head in place with one hand and thumped him with the other

It was definitely a foul. Its just unfortunate it resulted in a KO as its not really worthy of any major implications, just a warning.
