You can tell by his body language that he obviously felt he won, he was just being modest and humble.. It's really obvious to me who won the fight, the guy that was more active, effective, and the guy that CONTROLLED the fight. The guy that didn't fight in spurts.

Trout is a class act. The fight was VERY close and he could very well have pretended he won it. I can't say I'm surprised because Austin has always sounded like a nice guy to me. He's still got a great career ahead of him if he keeps improving his game.

 

This isnt about making excuses.

If he thought he won,he would have said it.

You dont say stuff like "The better man won" when you think you won!!

As classy a guy as Trout is, if he thought he won, he would have found a respectable way of saying he disagreed with the judges scorecards.
