What did Trout land on Alvarez?

A lot of pity pat jabs, which is why you can't recall anything meaningful.

 

Some featherfisted jabs, but 99% were avoided through dodging by Alvarez!

 

People seem to forget he's 22 years old.Lots of room from improvement.I liked what I seen from him although i believe he would of made a statement by stopping trout.Either way great work by the next cashcow.

I think that Trout makes people look bad period. I don't see him getting another title shot.

He landed nothing at all.The soulless ginger kid made him miss every single shot he threw and there was never a single point in the fight in which Trout's gloves made contact with pale boys body.


I'm not one for hypebole, of course.

 

He landed almost nothing, the only rounds that he won was only because Canelo wasn't throwing much, but when he actually threw punches, he was easily landing the clean solid shots.

 

Trout definitely outlanded Alvarez. Most of his jabs were shorted though. He was more active. Trout's thing was that he didn't land much in terms of showing crips shots. Alvarez threw less, but did land some showy crisp shots in most rounds. Every shot that Alvarez landed was worth ten of what Trout landed to the judges. Alvarez' extremely low activity level, is what lost him most rounds as I scored it. Not saying that Trout was effectively aggresive. But at least he was trying to do something, while Alvarez did nothing for the majority of most rounds.

 

Alvarez's performance was basically the equivalent of David Haye's performance against Valuev.

I agree, I didn't see Trout land anything big. Canelo's head movement was awesome.
