*******s please calm down so the real fight fans can have a discussion.

Floyd is a great fighter but fighting another world class fighter that is 20lbs bigger than you seems like a bit much at the lower weight classes.

We know they will sanction a fight like this but should they?

Is it time for more re-hydration clauses ?

At what point do we start caring about fighter's health?

what a sissy you are. cant fight a guy for a belt that he has previously owned because he is too big? always an excuse. but its ok to fight RG who was a light weight 3 fights ago. i guess thats ok right?

Floyd will lose if he fights Canelo. He landed many shots on Trout throughout the fight, including that ridiculous straight, which stunned or hurt Trout. Trout looked to be at least 165 pounds in there, and closer to 170 or 175. So his absorption of Canelo's shots was a bit misleading. Floyd, who would weigh less than 155 pounds on fight night, will certainly not have the same punch resistance.

The fight doesn't make sense for Floyd, at all. Besides, GBP would have at least 1 judge with a pre-determined Canelo card (like last night). Oscar would see this as the ultimate step for his promotional company. Oscar's first big win was the close, controversial win over PWit. Canelo would be Oscar and Floyd PWit.

RG will be bigger than Floyd on fight night. Robert is naturally the bigger man. Robert always looked big even at LW. Even Manny Steward said he looks like a WW. And that was a long time ago.

I won't be surprised, and in fact I expect, Ghost to outweigh Floyd on fight night. Floyd's a small WW.

*****s are the ones making polls about who would win, with 75% picking floyd. and alot saying it would be 12-0 type decision.

i'm fine if everyone was like you and admit that the fight will be too much. Which it will be. Floyd is too old, and too small to beat canelo.

But if all his fans, are going to keep posting about how floyd whips canelo. Then that makes me want to see the fight.

Outside of power, Canelo beings nothing to the table that should worry Floyd

    Alvarez had no stamina, none

Trout was 171 lbs and was stunned by Canelo's single shots on numerous occasions. So much for picking on 140 lbers :-( There isn't any doubt in my mind Floyd hits the canvas off a flush right hand if Alvarez finds and capitalizes on the opening. Still think Floyd wins by wide UD otherwise, and this fight would crack 2 million buys without much sweat.

Alvarez was landing hard shots on an opponent weighing about 170 pounds. Floyd likely won't even weigh 154 pounds on fight night. In case you didn't catch it, Saul weighed 172 last night.

The difference in weight, at Floyd's age, would be decisive. Canelo is not bad at anything (although not exceptional at anything yet either) and he comes to fight. Floyd likely gets stopped if he fights Canelo, who will be about 3 weight classes above him on fight night.

For a guy that hates Floyd you sure do think a 36 year old former super featherweight is unstoppable
