    Mayweather weighs 150 max on fight night. Hell there are lightweights that weigh that much. Can people imagine if Floyd called out a guy who he would have a 22lb advantage over on fight night. He would be crucified.

    Floyd is holding a title that he won at 154. (He weighed in at 151 for that fight.)

    Therefore, it would be completely reasonable for him to fight the other title holders at that weight. In fact, he promised (and later reneged) to fight Canelo in September at the weight.

    IMO, Floyd would be the slight favourite.

    Moreover, I believe he could beat most MWs as well. All but Martinez, Chavez and GG.

    Yep, the man who's held as the number one LMW of the world shouldn't be forced to fight another LMW. Makes sense.

    He holds belts at BOTH weights.

    Then why is he still holding on to the light middleweight WBA superbelt? And why, if he's just a welterweight, does he occasionally jump to 154 and claim he fights "the best" at that weight? He claims all of those things, and so when the time comes for him to defend them, his fans say "b-b-b-but he's too small to do that"?

    He did fight the best at 154 in Cotto(which is a weak division)

    Everyone rated Cotto over Alvarez.
